Prior to Dental Partners, Dr. Christie was founder, CEO and majority owner of Christie Dental, a Florida-based dental practice management platform that he started as a single clinic and successfully sold to American Dental Partners in 2009.  In 2011, Dr. Christie founded Dental Partners with the acquisition of a single clinic in Tennessee. By 2016, Dental Partners had grown to 18 clinics in Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia and Florida.  Andy Graham was Chairman of Dental Partners from 2014-2016.

As a successful entrepreneur and trained dentist, Dr. Christie has a unique set of professional experiences and perspectives on dental practice management. As an entrepreneur, Dr. Christie has twice built industry-leading dental practice management platforms. As a trained dentist, Dr. Christie has translated his understanding of the clinical and business environment into systems that has improved individual clinical performance as well as the lives of the affiliated clinical staff.

Dental Partners focused heavily on improving its core value proposition, market positioning, business processes, and control systems and market positioning, as well as refining the underpinnings of its growth strategy. Reflecting the strength of its dental network, systems and management team, Dental Partners was sold to Dynamic Dental Partners (a portfolio company of Huron Capital Partners) in January, 2017 at an attractive valuation. Soon after the transaction, Dynamic Dental Partners changed its name to Dental Partners and Dr. Christie became Chief Executive Officer of the company.  Subsequently, Huron Capital Partners merged another of its investments (Spring and Sprout, a pediatric and orthodontic specialty group practice) into Dental Partners.  Following the merger, the company was re-named Pure Dental Brands.  Pure Dental Brands provides practice management services to dental office in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
